Job Description: Store Supervisor
We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Supervisor to manage day-to-day store activities, including material receipt, inspection coordination, material issuance, stock updating, inventory records, and petty purchases from the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming raw materials, consumables, tools, and other items as per purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Verify material quantity, identification, and basic condition at the time of receipt and coordinate with the Quality/Production team for inspection where required.
- Prepare and maintain Material Receipt Notes (MRN) and other relevant store records.
- Issue materials to production and other departments against approved material requisitions/issue slips.
- Maintain accurate records of all material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances.
- Regularly update stock/inventory records and ensure physical stock matches the recorded quantity.
- Maintain proper identification and traceability of materials in the store.
- Ensure proper storage, segregation, identification, and secure handling of materials.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the concerned person about materials requiring replenishment.
- Prepare material indents/requisitions for routine and production-related requirements.
- Carry out petty purchases from the local market as authorized by management and maintain proper bills/receipts and purchase records.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, quality,
and accounts departments regarding material requirements and documentation.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and report discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock to management.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and discipline within the store area.
- Ensure that store documents and records are properly maintained and readily available for internal/external audits.
- Perform other store-related duties assigned by management.
- equired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate) qualification.
- Fresher to 1 year of relevant experience in stores, inventory, material handling, or a similar field.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to maintain stock records and perform basic calculations.
- Basic understanding of material receipt, issuance, inventory, and stock control.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production, purchase, quality, and other departments.
- Honest, responsible, and disciplined approach to handling company materials and purchases.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment
- Additional Requirement: Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Candidate should be willing to travel locally for petty purchases, material collection, supplier-related work, or other official requirements.
- Own two-wheeler/conveyance will be preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
