Role Summary
The Cluster Head will lead the implementation of STEM education programmes across 10–15 Government schools in Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts, Tamil Nadu. The role involves managing 10–15 STEM Trainers, ensuring programme quality and outcomes, managing school and Government stakeholders, and serving as the key interface with CSR partners. The role is based out of Tiruvallur / Sriperumbudur
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management
- Lead STEM programme implementation across assigned schools.
- Ensure achievement of project milestones, learning outcomes and quality standards.
- Conduct regular school visits to monitor delivery and resolve operational issues.
Team Management
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor and manage STEM Trainers.
- Conduct weekly classroom observations, performance reviews and coaching.
- Build a motivated, collaborative and high-performing team.
Government & School Stakeholder Management
- Build robust relationships with Headmasters, CEOs, District Education Officials and other Government stakeholders.
- Coordinate with school leadership to ensure smooth programme implementation.
- Represent NSEF in Government and partner review meetings.
CSR Partner Engagement
- Serve as the primary interface with CSR donors and funding partners.
- Provide regular project updates, impact reports and presentations.
- Coordinate donor visits and showcase programme outcomes.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track programme performance against KPIs and project objectives.
- Prepare periodic reports for management and CSR partners.
- Maintain MIS, programme documentation and compliance records.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Engineering, Management or a related field.
- 4–6 years' experience managing NGO, CSR or Government programmes in school education.
- Proven experience managing field teams and multiple schools/projects.
- Good understanding of the Government school ecosystem in Tamil Nadu.
- Experience with CSR-funded education projects is an advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership, team management and execution skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written Tamil and English is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
