Role Overview
We are looking for a Makeup Artist Intern who has a strong understanding of makeup techniques, beauty trends, colour theory, and different skin tones and facial features.
In this role, you will work closely with our Product, AI/Computer Vision, and Beauty Tech teams to help improve and validate virtual makeup experiences. You will contribute your practical makeup expertise to ensure that our AI-powered beauty solutions deliver realistic, accurate, and visually appealing results.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist in testing and evaluating AI-powered virtual makeup try-on experiences.
- Apply professional knowledge of makeup techniques to assess virtual makeup results.
- Evaluate makeup looks across different skin tones, face shapes, features, and lighting conditions.
- Provide feedback on the accuracy and realism of virtual makeup application.
- Assist in identifying differences between real-life makeup application and AI-generated/virtual results.
- Work with the product and technology teams to improve makeup placement, shades, textures, and finishes.
- Research current makeup trends, techniques, products, shades, and beauty looks.
- Assist in creating and documenting different makeup looks for product testing.
- Support testing of different makeup categories such as:
- Foundation




- Concealer
- Blush
- Bronzer
- Highlighter
- Eyeshadow
- Eyeliner
- Mascara
- Lipstick and lip liner
- Help evaluate whether different makeup shades and finishes appear naturally on different complexions.
- Participate in product demonstrations, testing sessions, and beauty-tech experiments.
- Maintain documentation of testing observations and provide structured feedback to the product and technology teams.
- Stay updated with emerging beauty and makeup trends to help enhance Orbo.ai's beauty experiences.

Requirements

- Diploma/certification in Makeup Artistry, Beauty & Cosmetology, or a related field is preferred.
- Students or recent graduates with a strong practical understanding of makeup are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of:
- Makeup application techniques
- Colour theory
- Skin tones and undertones
- Face shapes and facial features
- Makeup products and finishes
- Strong interest in Beauty Tech, AI, and Computer Vision.
- Good visual observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify subtle differences in makeup shades, placement, blending, and finish.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work closely with technical and product teams.
- Creative mindset with a passion for beauty and experimentation.

- Skilled makeup artist experience or certification.
- Experience working with different skin tones and facial features.
- Knowledge of professional makeup brands and product categories.
- Experience creating different makeup looks for photography, shoots, events, or social media.
- Familiarity with beauty content creation or social media trends.
- Interest in AI-based beauty applications and virtual try-on technology.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
