Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Full-Time Student Counsellor to provide guidance and support to students in their academic, personal, and emotional development. The candidate should be capable of understanding student concerns, providing appropriate counselling, and working closely with teachers, coordinators, and parents to support student well-being and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct individual and group counselling sessions based on student needs.
- Provide guidance and support to students regarding academic, personal, social, and emotional concerns.
- Identify students who require additional counselling, support, or intervention.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.
- Support students in developing positive behaviour, communication skills, confidence, and coping strategies.
- Provide academic and career guidance based on students' interests, strengths, and abilities.
- Identify students facing learning, behavioural, emotional, or social challenges and provide appropriate support.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school management to address student-related concerns.
- Communicate student concerns and progress appropriately with parents and guardians.
- Conduct awareness sessions and activities on topics such as mental well-being, study skills, stress management, career planning, and life skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling,



Social Work, or a relevant field.
- Relevant certification or qualification in Counselling/Psychology preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in student counselling or a school/educational setting preferred.
- Experience in counselling high school students preferred.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and student well-being.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student matters professionally.

- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, coordinators, and school management.
- Ability to use appropriate counselling techniques and digital tools where required.

- Participation in school events, student development activities, and awareness programmes.
- Willingness to support students during examinations and other high-stress academic periods.
- Continuous improvement in counselling practices and professional knowledge.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
