About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior German Language Tutor to join our language training team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in German, proven teaching experience, and the ability to train learners across different proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.

The Senior German Language Tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging, structured, and learner-focused German language training while supporting students in achieving their academic, qualified, or examination-related goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct German language classes for A1 to B2 levels, based on learner requirements.
- Develop and deliver structured lesson plans, course materials, activities, and assessments.
- Teach German grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Prepare students for recognized German language examinations such as Goethe, TELC, where applicable.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate learners' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify individual learning gaps and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
- Organize interactive activities, role plays, discussions, presentations, and real-life communication exercises.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, assessments, and learner progress.
- Mentor and support junior German language tutors when required.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of German language course content and training methodologies.




- Stay updated on current German language teaching practices, examination patterns, and learning resources.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, academic coordinators, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in German Language, German Studies, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- B2/C1 level proficiency in German; native or near-native proficiency is preferred.
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant German teaching/tutoring experience.
- Strong knowledge of German grammar and language structure.
- Experience teaching students from diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
- Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Goethe, TELC recognized German language certification.
- Experience preparing students for German language examinations.
- Experience in German for professional purposes, study-abroad preparation, or German corporate training.
- Prior experience mentoring or managing junior language trainers.
- International exposure or experience working/studying in a German-speaking country.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
