Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Operator to support new product development, prototype manufacturing, product trials, machine operation, and process improvement activities. The candidate will work closely with the NPD, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate machines and equipment for new product development and trial production.
- Perform machine setup, tool setting, and process parameter adjustments.
- Execute prototype, sample, pilot, and pre-production trials.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Take accurate measurements using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges, etc.
- Identify dimensional, machining, assembly, and process-related issues during trials.
- Coordinate with NPD and Engineering teams for trial modifications and improvements.
- Maintain records of trial parameters, observations, rejection, and output.
- Assist in process development and optimization for new products.
- Provide feedback on tooling, fixtures, machine settings, cycle time,



and manufacturability.
- Support smooth transfer of successfully developed products to regular production.
- Follow SOPs, quality standards, safety procedures, and 5S practices.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe operation of machines.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in engineering
- Good knowledge of machine operation and basic production processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable understanding of production quality requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with NPD, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates having experience in NPD / NPI / Prototype Development / CNC / VMC / Machining / Assembly / Engineering Production will be preferred.
