Job Purpose

To manage and supervise the overall operations of the Kanpur plant, ensuring smooth production, efficient utilization of manpower and resources, equipment availability, safety, quality, and compliance with applicable environmental and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations

- Manage and supervise day-to-day plant operations.
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant functioning.
- Plan and monitor production activities as per operational requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of plant machinery, manpower, and other resources.
- Monitor production targets, operational efficiency, and process performance.
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.

2. Production & Process Management

- Plan production schedules and ensure timely completion of production activities.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain proper production records and operational reports.
- Reduce process losses, wastage, downtime, and operational costs.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth plant operations.

3. Maintenance

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure proper functioning of plant machinery and equipment.
- Minimize machine breakdowns and unplanned downtime.
- Ensure timely maintenance, servicing, and inspection of equipment.

4. Manpower Management

- Supervise plant staff, operators, technicians, and other personnel.
- Allocate duties and shifts as per plant requirements.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.
- Ensure that employees follow company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Identify manpower requirements and coordinate with HR for recruitment.

5. Health,



Safety & Workplace (HSE)

- Ensure strict compliance with plant safety procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure the use of appropriate PPE by all plant personnel.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of waste/materials.
- Take necessary action to prevent accidents, incidents, and unsafe practices.
- Coordinate with the EHS team for safety and environmental compliance.

6. Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure plant operations are carried out in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
- Maintain required records and documentation related to plant operations and compliance.
- Coordinate for inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable CPCB/SPCB and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and management of hazardous and other waste as applicable.

7. Quality & Documentation

- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout plant operations.
- Monitor testing, sampling, and quality-related activities where applicable.
- Maintain production, maintenance, inventory, safety, and other plant records.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly plant performance reports to management.

8. Inventory & Material Management

- Monitor availability of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and other required materials.
- Coordinate with stores and purchase teams to avoid shortages.
- Control unnecessary consumption and wastage of materials.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.

9. Cost & Efficiency Improvement





- Monitor plant operating costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Implement measures to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Reduce unnecessary downtime, material wastage, and energy consumption.
- Suggest process improvements to management.

Qualification

- B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, or related engineering field.
- Additional qualifications in Environmental Management, Safety, or Operations will be an advantage.

Experience

- 8–12 years of relevant experience in plant operations, preferably in oil recycling, used oil processing, waste management, hazardous waste, chemical, refinery, or similar industries.
- Candidates with experience in managing production plants and handling plant manpower will be preferred.
- Experience in environmental compliance and industrial safety will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
