Role Overview

The Junior Video Editor assists the video editing team in producing engaging social media videos, advertisements, and promotional content. The role focuses on executing edits, learning editing workflows, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in video editing for various projects, including social media content, brand films, and commercials.
- Support the production team by cutting, trimming, and organizing video footage.
- Contribute to the creative process by suggesting visual storytelling techniques.
- Learn and implement different editing styles, transitions, and effects to enhance video content.
- Ensure video content meets the required standards and timelines for client satisfaction.
- Maintain and organize project files, assets, and backups for easy access and future use.
- Follow brand guidelines and editing standards.
- Support the team in meeting content calendar deadlines.

Required Skills & Tools

- Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects is mandatory.




- Familiarity with Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.
- Understanding video editing workflows, including color correction, sound design, and transitions.
- An eye for detail and an interest in visual storytelling through video.
- Ability to adapt to various video formats, from short-form content to longer-form videos.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1–3 year of hands-on experience in video editing (internship or freelance experience is acceptable).
- Basic experience with editing for social media, YouTube, or short-form content.
- A passion for learning video editing techniques and exploring new trends.
- Strong team collaboration skills and openness to feedback.
- Self-motivated with a curiosity to learn and grow in the video editing field.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to project changes.
