About the Role

Navin Group is looking for an experienced Operations Manager – CFS to manage end-to-end CFS operations at Mundra. The candidate will be responsible for cargo and yard operations, client coordination, manpower management, equipment utilisation, safety, compliance, vendor coordination and daily operational reporting.

Candidates currently based in Mundra with relevant CFS experience will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day CFS operations including cargo handling, stuffing, de-stuffing, stacking and container movement.
- Ensure proper yard planning, cargo safety and smooth operational flow.
- Manage supervisors, operators, drivers and other operational manpower.
- Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, customs, port authorities, transporters and other stakeholders.
- Ensure proper CFS documentation and compliance with customs and statutory requirements.
- Monitor MHE and equipment utilisation, maintenance, fuel consumption and downtime.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Manage manpower and equipment vendors and control operational costs.
- Handle operational issues, client complaints and ensure timely resolution.




- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly MIS and operational reports.
- Monitor key operational KPIs including throughput, manpower utilisation, equipment uptime, safety and cost performance.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate degree required; MBA/PGDM or Logistics/Supply Chain qualification will be an advantage.
- 8 – 12 years of relevant experience in CFS/ICD, port operations, logistics yard or similar operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in CFS operations is mandatory/preferred.
- Good knowledge of cargo handling, yard management, container operations and CFS documentation.
- Strong team handling and leadership skills.
- Good client and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage operations under pressure and take quick decisions.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
