Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day inventory activities for modular furniture production.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, components, hardware, consumables, and finished goods.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of materials for production.
- Handle material inward, inspection, storage, issue, transfer, and outward processes.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Maintain proper stock records in ERP/software and Excel.
- Issue materials to production based on approved material requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Identify slow-moving, excess, damaged, and obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Production teams regarding material requirements.
- Maintain proper bin locations and ensure systematic storage of materials.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and stock reports.
- Monitor stock variance and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper FIFO/stock rotation wherever applicable.
- Maintain warehouse safety, and proper material handling practices.
- Support periodic and annual stock audits.
Required Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory/stores/warehouse operations, preferably in furniture or manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of modular furniture materials and hardware.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, inventory management, and stock reconciliation.
- Experience with ERP/inventory software is preferred.
- Good documentation and record-maintenance skills.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle physical stock verification and inventory audits.
