*Job Summary:*

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer responsible for ensuring that manufactured components and processes meet required quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.

* Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and specifications.

* Perform dimensional inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.

* Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.

* Identify quality issues, defects, rejection, and rework.

* Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

* Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

* Coordinate with production, machining, and engineering teams to resolve quality problems.

* Prepare and maintain inspection plans, check sheets, and quality documentation.

* Support first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.

* Handle customer complaints and assist in corrective action reports.

* Ensure measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.

* Conduct process and product audits as required.

* Support continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection and improve product quality.





* Follow company quality procedures and safety requirements.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;

* Good knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.

* Experience with precision measuring instruments.

* Knowledge of quality tools such as *7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and CAPA*.

* Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems is preferred.

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.

* Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining quality inspection is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field.

* *2–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance* preferred.

* Experience in machining, automotive, engineering, or precision component manufacturing is an advantage.
