Responsibilities:

· Inventory Management: Storekeepers are responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring that the inventory is organized and accessible. This includes conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

· Receiving and Dispatching Goods: They handle the receipt of incoming goods, inspecting deliveries for quality and quantity, and ensuring that items are stored in designated locations. Storekeepers also prepare and dispatch orders for delivery or shipment to customers.

· Order Processing: Storekeepers manage the ordering process, which includes initiating orders to replenish stock, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.

· Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all transactions, including purchases, sales, and inventory levels, is crucial. Storekeepers often use inventory management software to track these records.

· Store Maintenance: They are responsible for keeping the storage area clean, organized, and free from hazards. This includes ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Assisting with Logistics: Storekeepers may work closely with logistics teams to support the efficient flow of goods and may assist in preparing materials for disposal or transfer.

· Customer Service:



In some settings, storekeepers may interact with customers, providing assistance and information regarding stock availability and product details

3. Key Competencies

· Physical Stamina: The role often requires lifting and moving heavy items, so physical fitness is significant.

· Experience with Inventory Software: Familiarity with inventory management systems can enhance efficiency in tracking stock levels and transactions.

4. Education:

· Diploma in Commerce, Engineering (Mechanical preferred), or related discipline.

· ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Store Keeper course.

5. Experience:

· 2–4 years of hands-on experience in stores, inventory, or warehouse management, preferably in automation or laser-based machinery industries.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
