About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and creative Jewellery Maker / Jewellery Artisan to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating, assembling, finishing, and repairing jewellery pieces while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Make and assemble jewellery pieces according to designs and specifications.
- Work with materials such as gold, silver, artificial jewellery, beads, stones, chains, and other components.
- Perform cutting, shaping, soldering, polishing, setting, and finishing as required.
- Ensure proper alignment, finishing, and overall quality of each jewellery piece.
- Follow jewellery designs, samples, and production instructions accurately.
- Identify and correct defects during the manufacturing process.
- Handle tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Complete orders within the required production timelines.
- Assist with modifications and repairs when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in jewellery making or jewellery manufacturing preferred.
- Valuable hand skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand jewellery designs and samples.
- Knowledge of jewellery-making tools and techniques.
- Good finishing and quality-control skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Freshers with relevant jewellery-making skills may also be considered.
