Cinephile Bro’s Studio (CBS) is a creative video production and digital marketing agency based in Coimbatore. We work with brands across different industries to create engaging social media content, advertisements, promotional videos, personal branding content, documentaries, and other digital media.

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.

Job Overview

As a Video Editor at CBS, you will be responsible for editing short-form and long-form video content for our clients. You will work closely with our creative and production team to understand the concept, maintain the brand's visual style, and deliver high-quality videos within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, corporate videos, and other digital content.
- Review and organise raw footage before starting the editing process.
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing, storytelling, transitions, music, sound effects, and graphics.
- Add subtitles, captions, text animations, and basic motion graphics.
- Perform basic colour correction and colour grading.
- Sync and enhance audio, dialogue, music, and sound effects.
- Select the best shots and create a smooth visual flow.
- Create multiple versions and formats suitable for Instagram, YouTube,



advertisements, and other platforms.
- Understand creative briefs and execute edits according to the required style.
- Make revisions based on client and internal feedback.
- Maintain proper file organisation and project management.
- Deliver assigned projects within the given deadlines.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, transitions, and content formats.
- Work collaboratively with videographers, content writers, designers, and the digital marketing team.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects is preferred.
- Good understanding of short-form content and social media editing.
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of colour correction and audio editing.
- Ability to create engaging captions and text animations.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand feedback and make revisions quickly.
- Valuable time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience.




- Experience working with a digital marketing agency, production house, or content creation company is an advantage.
- Experience editing content for brands and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Photoshop, or other creative tools is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-based video and creative tools is a plus.
