Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Site Engineer (Civil) with a strong background in execution, billing, and government project documentation. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical knowledge of civil construction, expert-level competency in DSR/SOR-based estimation, and excellent interpersonal skills to manage contractors and stakeholders efficiently.
- Experience Required: 2 to 3 years of mandatory on-site civil engineering experience (preferably with exposure to government/infrastructure projects).
- Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Technical Management
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to design drawings, architectural specifications, and engineering standards.
- Provide technical know-how and troubleshooting solutions for structural, material, and execution-related challenges on-site.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure work execution is completed on schedule without compromising on structural integrity.
2. Contractor Billing, Measurements & MB Management
- Conduct accurate measurement verification of completed work at site.
- Maintain, update, and manage Measurement Books (MBs) meticulously in compliance with standard engineering practices and government auditing norms.
- Process contractor running account (RA) and final bills, verifying quantities against approved estimates and drawings.
3. Cost Estimation, BoQ & DPR Preparation
- Prepare precise Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimations.
- Benchmark rates using the Delhi Schedule of Rates (DSR) and relevant State Schedule of Rates (SOR).
- Compile and draft comprehensive Detailed Project Reports (DPR) tailored for government projects, ensuring all compliance and statutory requirements are met.
4. Contractor Interaction & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractor coordination, managing daily outputs, and resolving site-level conflicts.
- Foster and maintain healthy professional relationships with contractors, laborers, consultants, and government authorities/officials.
5. Quality Assurance, Safety & Compliance (Added Capabilities)
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols, ensuring construction materials meet specified IS (Indian Standards) codes.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE) guidelines on site to minimize hazards and maintain a zero-accident workspace.
- Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and documentation for review by project managers and government representatives.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, materials testing, and structural safety.
- Statutory Knowledge: Hands-on proficiency with DSR, State SOR, government tendering guidelines, and standard public works procedures.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera is a plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear instruction-giving and official correspondence.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict-resolution, and people-management capabilities to handle diverse workforces and high-pressure environments.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
