We are looking for a Clinical Psychology Intern to support interventions for children studying in Grades 2 to 8. The intern will work closely with children to implement tailor-made and standard academic and behavioural interventions based on their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support intervention programs for children from Grade 2 to Grade 8.
Assist in identifying and addressing academic, behavioural, emotional, and learning-related challenges.
Implement individualized and standard intervention strategies under appropriate supervision.
Maintain a structured intervention tracker documenting interventions applied, observations, progress, and outcomes.
Monitor children's progress and provide regular updates to the supervising team.
Assist in modifying intervention plans based on the child's progress and requirements.
Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure confidentiality of child-related information.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals when required.
Candidate Profile
Pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology / Psychology or a related field.
Solid interest in working with children and adolescents.
Good observation, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of child development, behavioural interventions, and academic support strategies.
Ability to work patiently and empathetically with children.
Willingness to work offline from the Vijayanagar location for the full 6-month internship period.
