About the Role

AOPay is looking for a Technical Lead – .NET Core who can code and lead in equal measure: someone who still architects and ships production code personally, while also owning delivery, mentoring, and technical direction for a team of .NET Core developers. This is not a purely managerial role — hands-on involvement in design and critical development work is core to the job, not a fallback.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Development

- Personally design and build scalable, secure, high-performance applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Own architecture decisions for RESTful APIs and microservices, and write production-grade code where it matters most (critical modules, performance-sensitive components, new architecture spikes).
- Set and enforce coding standards through hands-on code reviews, not just policy documents.
- Troubleshoot and personally resolve critical production issues, especially those requiring deep technical judgment.
- Drive performance optimization and system-level improvements across the stack.

Technical Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of .NET Core developers — technically and in day-to-day delivery.
- Own the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) end-to-end for the team's projects.
- Plan sprints, allocate resources,



and hold delivery timelines accountable.
- Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and Product to keep delivery unblocked.
- Ensure documentation and internal compliance standards are maintained without slowing the team down.

Required Skills

Must-Have (Technical)

- Strong hands-on experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, MVC.
- Entity Framework / EF Core and strong SQL Server skills.
- Proven experience architecting Microservices.
- Working knowledge of Azure or AWS Cloud.
- CI/CD pipeline experience; comfortable with Git.
- Worked on Agile Methodology

Good-to-Have

- Docker, Kubernetes.
- Frontend exposure — Angular or React — enough to work across the stack when needed.

Leadership & Managerial

- 5+ years of proven experience directly managing a development team, not just senior IC experience.
- Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Excellent stakeholder communication — able to represent engineering decisions to Product and leadership.
- Sound judgment under pressure — comfortable owning both a production outage and a sprint planning conversation in the same day.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Location & Commute

Based out of Dwarka, Delhi. Candidates should be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
