About the Role
As an Assistant Manager – Project Logistics, you will be responsible for managing logistics-related activities for new projects and engineering changes, ensuring seamless coordination across cross-functional teams and successful project execution from initiation through SOP and handover to serial production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead logistics activities for current projects and change management initiatives.
- Coordinate with customers, production, PPC, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
- Develop and implement logistics concepts, packaging solutions, and transportation strategies.
- Manage supplier logistics readiness, packaging validation, and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate ERP setup, M-BOM deployment, and logistics parameter configuration.
- Ensure successful production launches and smooth project handover to serial logistics.
- Drive zero obsolescence during project launches and engineering changes.
- Validate supply chain readiness, including freight and customs requirements.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure on-time execution of logistics deliverables.
- Lead project logistics activities until successful handover to the serial production team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Supply Chain Management

- Material Resource Planning (MRP)
- Supplier Scheduling
- Customer Relationship Management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
Education
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
