About Nimaya Foundation
Nimaya is a future-ready not-for-profit cofounded in 2021 by Navya Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty, focused on preparing young women facing socio-economic barriers for a world of work being rapidly reshaped by AI and emerging technologies.
As GenAI transforms industries, workflows and hiring expectations, Nimaya works at the intersection of employability and AI readiness to ensure our Nimaya Naaris are not replaced by AI, but instead are equipped to participate and lead in this new economy.
In partnership with institutions such as the Government of India's IndiaAI Mission, we have enabled 10,000+ Nimaya Naaris across 5 states to step into the new world of work with our flagship program - the GenAI Ready Naari.

What's exciting about this role?
Imagine leading the field charge for a program that can change the trajectory of a young naari's future in Guwahati by upskilling her in GenAI and 21st century workplace skills. We're building this program in partnership with Ashoka University's Centre for Social and Behaviour Change, to move the needle for young women from underserved communities and prepare them for the future of work.
This is a hands-on, on-ground execution role. As a Field Manager, you will be present at training centers day to day, keep learner journeys on track, troubleshoot delivery issues in real time,
and make sure every session runs smoothly.
What does that mean for you?
- Conduct regular center visits to track attendance and resolve on-ground issues in real time
- Onboard learners, verify documentation, and maintain accurate, batch-wise records through our AI powered program management system
- Coordinate and setup mentoring sessions and live projects
- Be the first point of contact for trainers and venues: flag and fix delivery gaps on the spot
- Support logistics for trainings and other interventions of the program: venue setup, learner mobilization, on-ground troubleshooting
- Escalate risks (attendance drops, trainer issues, compliance gaps) to the Program Manager promptly
- Gather learner feedback and contribute ground-level inputs to impact reporting
Nimaya's GenAI Ready Naari Program
The GenAI Ready Naari Program equips young women with Generative AI skills and future-ready workplace competencies through 40 hours of immersive, hands-on learning, out of which 32 hours are offline training and 8 hours are online. In these sessions, Naaris explore:
- Building Chatbots & training Agentic AIs
- AI-powered research & communication tactics
- Creative problem-solving
- Presentation & collaboration skills
- Real-world projects & mentorship
The goal is not just to teach AI tools but to make learners truly future-ready for what the modern workplace demands: the ability to confidently work with AI instead of feeling threatened by it.
The Project you will join
If selected, you will step into the role of Field Manager of Nimaya's GenAI Ready Naari Program in Guwahati. Over the next 2 years, this project aims to:
- Upskill 900 young women across Guwahati
- Expand GenAI learning to areas where access to AI exposure is still limited
- Ensure meaningful learner outcomes beyond certification
What We're Looking For
Mindset
- Calm under pressure: able to improvise when a venue, trainer, or schedule changes at the last minute.
- Energised by being on the ground with learners every day, not managing from behind a screen.
- Proactive Attitude: Willingness to take initiative and demonstrate adaptability.
- Passion for Empowerment: A strong desire to support and enable the success of young women from restrictive circumstances.
Background
- 1-3 years of experience in program operations, field execution, or project management roles
- Experience in community mobilisation or working directly with young women learners is strongly preferred
- Robust proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets / Claude for tracking and reporting
- Familiarity with handling compliance, documentation, and structured reporting systems
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in Assamese is essential
- Comfortable with daily travel between training centers within Guwahati (batches may run on weekends)
- Based in Guwahati (mandatory)
Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Guwahati, Assam (Guwahati, Kamrup District)
