Job Title: AutoCAD Designer - Novacom Fire & Security Technics Pvt Ltd

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our engineering team for designs related to Fire Safety. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate, high-quality 2D technical drawings for integrated fire protection systems. Your designs will directly guide our installation teams in office, covering fire hydrant systems, fire alarms, water-based sprinkler systems, and electronic security setups.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Layout: Prepare comprehensive installation drawings, shop drawings, and as-built plans for Fire hydrant, fire alarm networks, and automatic sprinkler systems.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to relevant local building codes, National Building Code (NBC) and NFPA standards. Coordination with client’s team, MEP Team for execution related approvals and do site meeting as and when required.
- System Integration: Coordinate with the site team related to drawings to ensure work is being executed as per approved drawings and support them for drawing related matters.
- Review multiple services layouts,



and MEP drawings to identify and resolve conflicts before on-site installation begins.
- Documentation: Generate accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and technical documentation required for project approvals.
- Site Revisions: Update and maintain drawing registers, incorporating site changes into final as-built drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with specialized fire design is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven AutoCAD design experience.
