What would you do? A Quality Auditor is responsible for independent quality assurance and audit of trade confirmation and settlement processes for equity and fixed income products. The role performs sample-based and targeted quality checks, validates adherence to SOPs, controls and regulatory requirements, and reports audit findings, error trends and risk themes to process and leadership stakeholders. The role acts as a subject matter expert on quality standards, reviewing complex or high-value transactions, driving root cause analysis of defects, and recommending preventive controls across the trade lifecycle. The role also acts as a go-to quality expert, coaching team members on audit observations, driving improvements and managing stakeholder relationships. Role Type: Quality Assurance / Audit – this is a dedicated Quality Auditor (QA) position focused on independent review, monitoring and assurance of trade processing quality, rather than day-to-day production ownership. The auditor is accountable for audit sampling and coverage targets, accuracy and defect scoring, error trend and RCA reporting, calibration of quality standards with operations teams, and timely publication of quality dashboards and audit reports.
What are we looking for? Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee confirmation and matching of equity and fixed income trades Ensure timely affirmation with brokers and counterparties Monitor and drive resolution of unmatched and disputed trades Handle complex or high-value transactions requiring escalation Provide guidance on complex transactions and exception scenarios Allocate daily workload, monitor queues, and ensure SLA adherence Review team output to ensure accuracy and quality standards Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members Define and standardize SOPs, checklists, and control frameworks Review and sign off on high-value or sensitive transactions Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for errors and implement preventive controls Ensure zero missed elections / financial impact incidents Able to communicate the issues & escalate if needed Perform assignments/tasks Follow set procedures & ensure training completion on time Should be a self-starter, team player, motivated and highly energized individual to compete the complexity of the process Recognizes and/or articulates basic concepts, facts, methods, techniques in day-to-day work experiences Applies detailed knowledge and skills to complex (or new) work situations in multiple settings
