We are looking for an experienced Manual Test Engineer to join our SaaS product team on an 8-month, full-time, in office contract in Koramangala, Bangalore. This role offers an opportunity to build strong product knowledge while gaining hands-on exposure to AI-assisted and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications and create clear, detailed test cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate data using SQL.
- Work closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Use AI tools to generate test scenarios and improve testing efficiency.
- Learn and contribute to Playwright-based test automation through collaboration with the engineering team.
- Help develop AI-assisted QA processes and workflows.
- Focus on high-value exploratory and manual testing that requires human judgment.
- Support frequent product releases while maintaining a seamless user experience.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of manual testing experience, preferably in SaaS or product-based companies.
- Strong understanding of SQL, API testing, and defect tracking.
- Willingness to learn AI-assisted and automated testing.
