Role: Transition Project Manager

We are seeking a Transition Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of service and operational transitions between teams, functions, or business units.

The role is responsible for ensuring the effective transfer of services, processes, knowledge, and operational responsibilities while minimizing business disruption and maintaining continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end transition activities, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and milestones.

Coordinate between outgoing and incoming teams for smooth transfer of services, processes, responsibilities, and knowledge.

Develop and maintain transition plans, trackers, risk logs, and status reports.

Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations throughout the transition lifecycle.

Facilitate governance meetings, stakeholder reviews, and progress updates.

Ensure completion of process documentation, SOPs, and operational handover materials.

Support operational readiness,



stabilization activities, and post-transition follow-up.

Collaborate with business, operations, and support teams to minimize disruption during transition.

Requirements

5+ years of project or transition management experience.

Experience managing cross-functional operational transitions.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Excellent communication skills – communication with UK stakeholders is a key requirement.

Ability to manage multiple workstreams and timelines.

Solid problem-solving and organizational skills.

Proficiency with project tracking and reporting tools.

Experience in shared services, operations, outsourcing, or transformation programs.

PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar certification preferred.

Strong Project Management experience.

Important: This is a typical Project Manager / Transition PM role. The panel has stressed that top-notch communication skills, especially with UK stakeholders, are essential along with strong project management responsibilities.
