Hauz Khas

In a wedding planning company, the HR Executive role is unique. Unlike traditional corporate HR setups, wedding planning involves high seasonality, weekend event spikes, freelance and vendor coordination, high-stress delivery timelines, and dynamic field teams (logistics, design, production, client servicing).

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Event Staffing

- Full-Time Hiring: Sourcing and recruiting core talent such as Wedding Planners, Production Managers, Designers, Client Servicing Executives, and Logistics Coordinators.
- Gig & Seasonal Hiring: Building and managing a database of freelancers, shadow planners, setup crews, models, hostesses, and temporary event coordinators for peak wedding seasons.
- Vendor & Agency Coordination: Partnering with external staffing agencies for manpower during multi-day destination weddings.

2. Field Operations & Rostering

- Shift & Weekend Scheduling: Managing flexible shift rotations, compensatory off (comp-off) policies, and travel schedules for on-site wedding duty.
- Travel & Stay Logistics: Coordinating with the travel desk to ensure proper accommodation, travel allowances (TA/DA), and safety arrangements for field staff during destination weddings.

3. Onboarding & Field Training

- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Inducting new hires into the company’s brand standards, client confidentiality guidelines, and event etiquette.
- Crisis Management Training: Organizing basic training on stress management, conflict resolution with clients/vendors, and emergency protocols on event floors.

4. Compensation, Payroll & Incentives

- Freelancer Payouts:

Tracking and processing timely payments for seasonal staff and gig workers based on event completion.
- Overtime & Comp-Off Tracking: Managing attendance, overtime allowances, and night-shift premiums given the non-traditional working hours.
- Performance Bonuses: Coordinating event-based bonuses or commission structures tied to successful wedding executions.

5. Employee Relations & Burnout Prevention

- Culture & Retention: The wedding industry faces high turnover due to extreme stress; the HR Executive must actively monitor burnout, conduct check-ins post-event, and foster a supportive culture.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediating disagreements between cross-functional teams (e.g., Creative Design vs. On-site Production) under tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Hospitality/Event Management.
- Experience: 1–3 years of HR experience (prior experience in events, hospitality, advertising, or creative agencies is a strong plus).
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, agility under pressure, solid negotiation skills, and clear communication.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, basic HRMS tools, and freelance tracking databases.

Industry: Event Management / Luxury Wedding Planning

Work Mode: On-site / Hybrid (Requires flexibility during event season)

Key KPI Metrics:

- Time-to-fill for critical seasonal/event roles

- On-time payout processing for freelance staff

- Employee retention rate during peak season

- Smooth execution of comp-off and shift rotations

Pay: ₹11,004.97 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
