About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Die Fitter to join our Tool Room team at Greater Noida. The candidate will be responsible for die fitting, assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of dies as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform die fitting, assembly, dismantling and maintenance activities.
- Read and understand 2D drawings and die/tooling drawings.
- Carry out bench fitting, filing, grinding, drilling, tapping and polishing work.
- Perform die trial, spotting and correction activities.
- Identify and rectify die-related issues during trials and production.
- Maintain proper clearance, alignment and fitting accuracy of die components.
- Handle die components such as punches, dies, inserts, slides, lifters, guide pillars and bushes.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance of dies.
- Coordinate with Tool Design, Production and Quality teams for die corrections and improvements.
- Ensure proper identification, storage and maintenance of tools and die components.
- Follow 5S,



safety, quality and housekeeping standards in the Tool Room.
- Maintain records related to die maintenance, trials and corrections.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Die Fitting and Tool Room activities.
- Knowledge of press dies / stamping dies and their components.
- Good understanding of fitting tolerances and measurements.
- Ability to use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of grinding, drilling, tapping and bench fitting.
- Ability to troubleshoot die-related problems.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings will be an advantage.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
- Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to work.

Educational Qualification

ITI – Fitter / Tool & Die Maker / Mechanical Trade preferred.

Experience

2–8 years of relevant experience in Die Fitting / Tool Room / Press Die / Stamping Die manufacturing or maintenance.

Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh

Pay: ₹9,250.26 - ₹29,020.16 per month
