We are looking for a skilled and compassionate EEG Technician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for performing EEG procedures, ensuring accurate recordings, maintaining equipment, and providing a comfortable experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized EEG procedures as per clinical protocols.
Prepare patients and explain the procedure clearly before testing.
Apply EEG electrodes accurately and ensure proper signal quality.
Monitor and troubleshoot EEG recordings during procedures.
Maintain and operate EEG equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure proper documentation of patient information and test results.
Follow infection-control, safety, and hospital protocols.
Coordinate with neurologists and other clinical staff when required.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the EEG room and equipment.
Assist with other neurodiagnostic procedures as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Neurophysiology, EEG Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
Previous experience as an EEG Technician is preferred.
Good understanding of EEG procedures, electrode placement, and basic troubleshooting.
Strong patient-care and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a clinical team.
Willingness to work flexible schedule/shifts when required.
