JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Embedded Firmware design and development for Fire Detection and Alarm. Individual must have the ability to understand system requirements, understand system architecture, prepare design & code using C, C++, perform unit and system testing. The selected candidate must have a background in embedded firmware development, design and code review, devices/system interaction and troubleshooting(Debugging capabilities), and will be involved in all aspects of the system software development process (concept, design, reviews, coding, and validation). The selected candidate shall be solid in Embedded linux( System programming,.Kernel,Device drivers and UBoot ) and IOT Azure cloud connectivity. The selected candidate shall understanding of schematics. The selected candidate shall be able to work individually and with team – hardware and software both locally and globally. The selected candidate shall have experience in DFMEA and RRCA.



Need to work with teams at global locations across different time zones. The selected candidate shall able to lead cyber security for compliance all Products.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

Degree in Electronics & Communication /Electrical Engineering

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Minimum 12~14 years firmware development experience required as below:

Essential Competencies:

Robust in Embedded C,C++ oriented software development.

Experience on 16 / 32 bit micro controllers.

Strong in Microcontroller bare metal programming and board up capabilities.

Experience in working on protocols like I2C,SPI , RS485, MODBUS and BACNET.

Solid experience in IOT Azure Cloud connectivity.

Strong experience in Embedded Linux ( System Programming, Kernel, Device drivers and UBOOT).

Must have experience debugging, troubleshooting embedded systems using emulators, JTAG'BDM debuggers etc, Static code analysis

Must have experience with software version control(ex:SVN/GIT) and defect tracking software

Passionate to learn new technologies and tools quickly and work in a highly collaborative team-oriented environment.

Must have experience with DFMEA and RRCA tools.

Desirable Competencies:

Exposure to Google Test framework/CPP unit testing Framework

Experience with JIRA (Atlassian tools)

Able to understand hardware design and schematics is Plus

Exposure to Model based design

Cybersecurity

Knowledge in IOT and Connected Solutions applications

OTHER COMPETENCIES:

Understanding of the entire system development process.

Strong English communication skills - oral and written.

Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.

Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.

Passionate to work on POC’s for technology research efforts that result in prototypes for concept evaluation

Working experience in product-based companies.
