HIRING | Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Fabrication & In-house Manufacturing Development

Location: Pune / Supa MIDC, Maharashtra

Experience: 8–14 Years

Salary: Negotiable based on experience, current CTC & company policy

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Fabrication & In-house Manufacturing Development to lead fabrication activities and support the development of in-house manufacturing capabilities.

### Key Responsibilities

- Lead fabrication work for tanks, vessels, frames, structures, machine bases & fabricated components
- Plan fabrication sequence including fit-up, tack welding, welding, grinding, finishing & inspection
- Control welding sequence, distortion, deformation, shrinkage & dimensional accuracy
- Supervise welders, fitters, helpers & fabrication technicians
- Coordinate with Design, QA, Production Planning & Project Control teams
- Handle fabrication rework, repairs, engineering modifications & quality documentation
- Support development of jigs, fixtures & fabrication tools
- Identify fabrication work suitable for in-house manufacturing
- Support comparison of outsourced vs. in-house fabrication in terms of quality,



delivery & cost
- Develop fabrication standards, SOPs & work instructions
- Train and mentor fabrication personnel

### Required Skills

- Strong experience in Stainless Steel (SS) & Mild Steel (MS) fabrication
- Experience in tanks, pressure vessels, process equipment, industrial machinery or heavy fabricated structures
- Ability to read fabrication, assembly & GA drawings
- Solid knowledge of welding processes, fit-up, distortion control & dimensional inspection
- Experience leading welders, fitters & fabrication teams
- Strong practical, hands-on fabrication knowledge
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Strong awareness of workplace safety & fabrication best practices

Pay: ₹46,667.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
