Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Engineer – Fresher to join our Quality Department. The candidate will support quality inspection, documentation, process monitoring and continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process and final quality inspections.
- Check components as per drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Use basic measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Height Gauge.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality-related documents.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with the Production team for corrective action.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Assist in maintaining 5S and quality standards on the shop floor.
- Support customer and internal quality requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
- Follow company safety and quality procedures.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and basic GD&T; will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Basic MS Excel knowledge.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
