- Prepare detailed cost estimates for heat exchangers, including material takeoff from drawings and vendor negotiation.
- Manage estimation activities such as rate analysis, tender preparation, proposal management, and bid evaluation.
- Conduct quantity surveying and contractor billing for mechanical projects.
- Develop expertise in estimating various types of heat exchangers (air cooled, water cooled, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate costing and timely project delivery.
- Estimation of Static Equipments (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc) as per the requirement of codes and Clients specification
- Cost analysis as per the Company Guidelines.
- Familiar with standards and materials
- Careful study of process licensors data sheet, material specifications & drawings
- To build relationships with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage a regular correspondence for quantities, cost and specification
- Floating of enquiries to vendor for material quotes
- Prepare cost summary and technical offer
- Preparing & submitting of proposals, follow-up & correspondence with parties to convert submitted offers into orders.
- Preliminary Mechanical design of Static Equipment
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4-10 years of experience in Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying with a focus on Heat Exchanger Estimation.
