Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Dental Assistant to support the Dentist in providing quality patient care and to ensure the smooth functioning of the Dental Department.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Dentist during dental examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare the dental chair, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures.
- Assist with patient preparation and provide necessary support during treatment.
- Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments as per infection control protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dental treatment area.
- Prepare and maintain dental materials and consumables required for procedures.
- Ensure availability and proper storage of dental instruments and materials.
- Assist in maintaining patient records and dental treatment documentation.
- Support appointment coordination and patient flow when required.




- Follow hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Report equipment issues, shortage of materials, or other concerns to the concerned person.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Dentist / Department Head / Management.

Qualification

- Diploma / Certificate in Dental Assisting or relevant qualification preferred.
- Candidates with relevant experience in a dental clinic or hospital will be preferred.
- Freshers with a relevant qualification may also apply.

Required Skills

- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices.
- Good patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
