Structural & Architectural Draftsman

Location : Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Structural Draftsman with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings, detailing structural elements, coordinating with engineers and other disciplines, and ensuring drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed structural drawings for building construction projects based on engineering designs and specifications.
- Develop structural plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings for RCC and steel structures.
- Prepare reinforcement detailing for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, retaining walls, and other structural elements.
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement details as required.
- Modify and update drawings based on design changes, site requirements, and engineer's instructions.
- Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Architects.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, complete,



and comply with approved design standards and project requirements.
- Review structural drawings for dimensional accuracy, constructability, and coordination with architectural drawings.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved modifications.
- Maintain proper records and revisions of drawings.
- Support the engineering and construction teams with necessary drawings and technical details.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings according to project schedules.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Structural Draftsman in building construction.
- Solid experience in RCC building structural detailing and drafting.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, high-rise, or other building construction projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
