Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, articulate, and student-focused Admission Counsellor to manage the school admissions process and serve as a key point of contact for prospective parents. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, counselling, relationship-building, and follow-up skills, preferably with experience in a school or educational institution.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle enquiries from prospective parents through calls, emails, walk-ins, and other channels.
- Counsel parents and provide accurate information about the school, curriculum, facilities, fee structure, and admission process.
- Understand the requirements of parents and recommend suitable programmes/grade levels.
- Schedule and coordinate school visits, campus tours, interactions, and meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up with prospective parents throughout the admission journey and maintain regular communication.
- Manage admission leads and ensure timely follow-ups and conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM/database.
- Coordinate with the academic, administration, and finance teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Assist parents with documentation and application-related queries.




- Track admission targets and provide regular updates and reports to the management.
- Participate in school events, open houses, exhibitions, and other admission-related activities.
- Build positive relationships with parents and represent the school professionally.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, education sales, customer relationship management, or a similar role.
- Prior experience in a school, international school, preschool, college, university, or educational institution is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, counselling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Customer-focused with a professional and approachable personality.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Target-oriented and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
