Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead and manage robotic welding operations within our automation division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up welding parameters, teaching robots, ensuring weld quality, and troubleshooting robotic welding systems to achieve high productivity and consistent output.

Key Responsibilities

* Robotic Welding Operations

* Program, teach, and optimize welding paths for industrial robots.

* Set and fine-tune welding parameters (current, voltage, travel speed, wire feed, gas flow)

* Process Optimization

* Ensure cycle time reduction while maintaining weld integrity

* Develop and standardize welding procedures for automated systems

* Quality Control

* Inspect weld quality as per standards (visual, dimensional, and NDT if required)

* Ensure compliance with WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)

* Troubleshooting & Maintenance

* Diagnose and resolve welding defects and robotic issues

* Coordinate with maintenance and automation teams for breakdowns

* Team Supervision

* Lead operators and technicians in robotic welding cells

* Train staff on robot handling, welding quality, and safety

* Documentation

* Maintain welding records, parameter logs, and quality reports





* Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field

* 3–7 years of experience in welding, preferably in robotic welding automation

* Hands-on experience with industrial robots

* Strong understanding of welding processes: MIG, TIG, Spot Welding

* Knowledge of welding symbols, drawings, and GD&T;

* Familiarity with PLC interfaces and basic automation systems is a plus

* Shop floor / industrial environment

* May involve shift operations depending on production requirements

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
