- Ensure quality compliance during the assigned shift.
- Monitor line quality and react immediately to abnormalities.
- Verify adherence to SOPs, Control Plans, and inspection standards.
- Prepare and submit shift quality reports and handover status.
- Perform process audits and first-off/last-off verification during the shift.
- Initiate containment actions and support root cause investigations.
- Control internal rejection, segregation, and rework during production.
- Guide inspectors/operators on quality requirements and inspection methods.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance to resolve shift quality issues.
- Escalate major quality issues immediately to the Manufacturing Quality Lead.
- Sustain quality standards and ensure discipline on the shop floor.
- Achieve shift-wise quality targets and ensure defect-free production.
