Large-Scale Design Projects
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeller – Architecture to support the development, coordination, and delivery of architectural BIM models for large-scale design projects. The role requires strong technical capability in Building Information Modelling workflows, sound understanding of architectural design documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across all design stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update architectural BIM models in accordance with project requirements, BIM execution plans, and company standards.
- Prepare accurate 3D models, plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction documentation from BIM models.
- Translate architectural design intent into coordinated BIM models across concept, schematic, detailed design, tender, and construction documentation stages.
- Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, landscape, façade, interior, and other discipline models to identify and resolve design clashes.
- Support BIM coordination meetings by providing model updates, clash inputs, issue tracking, and documentation support.
- Create and modify Revit families, templates, views, sheets, schedules, and project-specific BIM content as required.
- Ensure model accuracy,
completeness, naming conventions, level of detail, and compliance with project BIM standards.
- Assist in quantity extraction, area schedules, room data, material information, and model-based design analysis where required.
- Maintain organized project files, model backups, issue logs, and drawing registers in line with project protocols.
- Work closely with architects, design leads, BIM coordinators, engineers, and consultants to support timely design delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in architectural BIM modelling, preferably on large-scale commercial, institutional, infrastructure, public space, mixed-use projects
- Strong experience in preparing architectural design and construction documentation using BIM platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multidisciplinary projects with complex coordination requirements.
- Understanding of architectural detailing, building materials, construction sequencing, drawing standards, and design coordination processes.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Architecture.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks,
BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, and common BIM collaboration platforms.
- Ability to perform model checks, clash review support, drawing extraction, schedule generation, and model clean-up.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, level of detail/level of information requirements, worksets, shared coordinates, model linking, view templates, and sheet setup.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Rhino, Dynamo, Enscape, Lumion, or similar tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, façade, and consultant drawings.
