Job Description – Measure & Install Supervisor (Field Coordinator & Documentation)

Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive Measure & Install Supervisor to manage site measurements, installation coordination, product specification, AutoCAD documentation, electrical coordination, and execution support for premium curtain and blind projects.

The role requires both field coordination and technical documentation capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for converting site measurements and architectural discussions into transparent AutoCAD drawings and execution-ready documents that can be directly shared with designers, clients, and other site agencies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Measurement & Site Analysis

- Take accurate site measurements in millimetres (mm) and centimetres (cm).
- Analyse each window/opening and determine the most suitable product (curtain, roller blind, Roman blind, zip blind, etc.).
- Identify whether blackout is required based on room usage (bedroom, media room, living room, etc.).
- Determine curtain stack direction based on balcony/patio access and sliding door operation.
- Check available wall space and recommend track extensions where required.

2. AutoCAD Documentation

- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for each window.
- Indicate product type, track/blind position, stack direction, and finished sizes.
- Show curtain/blind diagrams with dimensions.
- Mark electrical points, motor locations, and wiring routes for motorized systems.
- Generate PDF presentations for designers and clients.

Scheduling & Planning

- Create and manage daily fitter schedules.
- Allocate jobs based on location, priority, and manpower availability.
- Optimize routes to reduce travel time and cost.

4. Client & Architect Coordination

- Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, and site supervisors.
- Confirm installation timelines and access availability.
- Discuss product selections and blackout requirements.
- Share mock-room updates, and final selections with stakeholders.

5. Execution Process Documentation

Prepare execution drawings and process documents for:

- Civil contractors
- electrical contractors
- false ceiling teams
- carpentry teams
- installation technicians

Ensure all agencies have clear instructions so that project execution happens smoothly without client inconvenience.

6. Reporting & Tracking

- Maintain daily progress reports.
- Track measurement status, production readiness, and installation completion.

Candidate Requirements

Education - Diploma / Graduate in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field

Experience - 0–3 years (freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may apply)

A. AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory.

B. Candidate must know how to take measurements in mm and cm.

C. Candidate should be able to prepare window-wise product analysis drawings.

D. Candidate should understand curtain stack direction and blackout planning.

F. Candidate should generate execution-ready PDF documentation for designers and site teams.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
