POSITION DETAILS

Chief Warden (Hostel)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

● Master's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university

● Ph.D. degree or equivalent research qualification from a recognized university (preferred).

● Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

● Diploma or Certificate course in Hostel Management, Student Counselling, or related field.

● Prior experience as a Warden, Chief Warden, or in student affairs/hostel administration in a recognised university or institution.

● Working knowledge of fire safety norms, emergency response procedures, and CCTV/security systems.

● Familiarity with government reservation policies, anti-ragging regulations,



and POCSO guidelines.

● Proficiency in computer applications and hostel management software/ERP systems.

EXPERIENCE

● Minimum 5 (five) years of teaching or administrative experience in a recognized university

● Prior experience in managing residential/hostel facilities in an educational institution will be given preference.

● Experience in handling student welfare, disciplinary matters, or student support services is desirable.
