Job Description – Site Supervisor (Civil)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day construction activities at our residential project in Silvassa. The candidate will be responsible for supervising manpower, coordinating with contractors and engineers, ensuring work is executed as per drawings and specifications, and maintaining quality and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily civil construction activities at the residential project site.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing works.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
- Check line, level, alignment, dimensions, and quality of civil works.
- Manage and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Allocate manpower according to daily work requirements and maintain productivity.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, contractors, and other departments.
- Monitor daily material requirements and ensure proper utilization of construction materials.
- Identify site issues, delays, and quality problems and report them to the senior engineer/project manager.
- Ensure proper sequence of construction activities to avoid delays and rework.




- Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, material consumption, and site activity records.
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules and maintain proper housekeeping.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure defective work is rectified promptly.
- Support the engineering team in achieving project targets within the planned schedule.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of residential building construction and finishing work.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and site execution.
- Ability to control and coordinate labour and contractors.
- Valuable knowledge of RCC, brick/block work, plaster, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple activities at an active construction site.
- Strong focus on quality, productivity, and timely completion.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and daily site reporting will be an advantage.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / Civil Engineering qualification preferred.

Candidate Profile

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in residential construction.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in supervising residential projects will be preferred.
- Should be willing to work full-time at the Silvassa project site.
- Must be disciplined, responsible, and capable of handling site-level manpower and contractors independently.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
