Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Supervisor to manage day-to-day warehouse and stores operations at our FMCG manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, and timely issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other stores items while maintaining safety, hygiene, and GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily activities of the stores and warehouse team.
- Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and consumables.
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling, batch control, and systematic storage.
- Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers, and ERP/system transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable, particularly for food and FMCG materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and support monthly/annual inventory audits.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess inventory.
- Ensure proper segregation of approved, rejected, returned,



and quarantined materials in coordination with the Quality team.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, pest-control standards, and proper housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food-safety, EHS, and company SOPs, as applicable.
- Monitor storage conditions such as temperature, humidity, and cleanliness where required.
- Supervise loading, unloading, material movement, and dispatch activities.
- Plan manpower and allocate daily work to storekeepers, helpers, and warehouse personnel.
- Train and guide team members on protected material handling and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with Production for timely issue of materials against authorized requisitions.
- Maintain proper documentation for inward, outward, transfer, return, and disposal transactions.
- Ensure safe operation and proper handling of material-handling equipment.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stores reports and provide inventory-related information to management.
- Support internal, customer, statutory, and certification audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, space utilization, material flow, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, Operations, or a related field.
- Fresher or 1-2 years of relevant experience in stores/warehouse operations, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, warehouse practices, FIFO/FEFO, and material handling.
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP or other inventory management systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting.
- Strong supervisory, coordination, and team-management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of FMCG/food-industry hygiene and quality requirements will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in FMCG, food & beverage, consumer goods, or manufacturing plants, particularly those familiar with raw-material and packaging-material stores, will be preferred.

Work Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Salary: As per experience and industry standards

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
