Job Description – Demat & Depository Executive

Position: Demat & Depository Executive
Department: Operations / Capital Market Operations

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Demat account opening, modification, closure, and maintenance.
- Manage Dematerialization (Demat) and Rematerialization (Remat) requests.
- Process shares transfer, transmission, pledge/unpledge, and re-pledge activities.
- Coordinate with Depositories (NSDL/CDSL), Depository Participants (DPs), stock exchanges, and internal teams.
- Handle corporate actions such as bonus, split, dividend, rights issue, and mergers.
- Verify KYC documents and ensure compliance with applicable SEBI/DP regulations.
- Reconcile client securities and resolve discrepancies in Demat accounts.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare MIS and operational reports.
- Handle client queries related to Demat accounts, securities holdings, transactions, and statements.
- Ensure timely processing of all instructions within prescribed TAT and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with RTA, brokers, banks,



and other stakeholders when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to internal SOPs and compliance procedures.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of Demat & Depository Operations.
- Understanding of NSDL/CDSL processes and DP operations.
- Knowledge of KYC, SEBI regulations, and capital market operations.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple operational activities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Profile

- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- Experience in Stock Broking, Depository Participant, Capital Market, NBFC, Bank, or Financial Services will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Demat account operations, securities settlement, or DP back-office operations are preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
