Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to lead the procurement function for our solar power and renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the electrical and power sector, vendor management, strategic sourcing, and procurement of solar PV components, electrical equipment, and project materials. The candidate must be capable of ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality, delivery schedules, and statutory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support solar power and renewable energy projects.
- Source and procure solar PV modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cables, mounting structures, BOS (Balance of System), and other electrical components.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
- Obtain competitive quotations, compare technical and commercial offers, and finalize procurement decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual agreements with vendors.




- Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet project timelines and production schedules.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and continuously evaluate vendor performance.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Stores, Finance, and Quality departments for procurement planning and execution.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
- Track market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector.
- Prepare purchase reports, cost analysis, procurement MIS, and budget forecasts.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery delays, and commercial disputes.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through value engineering and strategic sourcing.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
