Happy 7 Days Hypermarket is looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager to manage the overall operations of the hypermarket and drive sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the hypermarket.
- Achieve sales, profit and operational targets.
- Lead, motivate and manage department managers, supervisors and staff.
- Monitor inventory, stock availability, wastage, expiry and shrinkage.
- Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and product availability.
- Monitor customer service and resolve major customer complaints.
- Control operating expenses and improve overall profitability.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, productivity and performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and internal departments.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, security, hygiene and safety standards.
- Conduct regular store inspections and implement corrective actions.




- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.

Requirements

- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hypermarket, supermarket or retail operations.
- Previous experience in a General Manager / Operations Manager / Store Manager position preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Retail Management or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
- Positive knowledge of sales, inventory and retail operations.
- Ability to manage a large team and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS/ERP and MS Office will be an advantage.
