Role Overview

Rherise Collective / Chapter2Drip is looking for a Manager – Accounts to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and lead a small accounting team as the brand scales. The ideal candidate has strong command of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial reconciliations, and can work independently while supervising junior team members and supporting the Finance Head on reporting and audits.

Eligibility — either track qualifies

1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent)

2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including team supervision

2. CA Inter / semi-qualified CA or equivalent professional qualification

2–5 years' hands-on accounting experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily sales and expense entries; maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally and Excel
- Ensure timely recording of financial transactions and maintain accounting records and documentation
- Generate and manage customer invoices; perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Track outstanding receivables and payables; resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B,



and other applicable returns) within deadlines
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and related compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and taxation regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities as required
- Supervise and coordinate with junior and senior accounting team members; review entries for accuracy
- Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and support process improvements and best practices

Requirements & Skills

- Meets either eligibility track above
- Strong working knowledge of Tally and Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on experience in GST and TDS compliance
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Robust analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with payroll and statutory compliance processes preferred
- Preference for candidates with experience in retail, FMCG, D2C, or B2B businesses
- Prior experience managing a team preferred

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
