Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Dance Teacher to join our team and contribute to the holistic development of our students. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various dance forms (classical, contemporary, and/or folk), and capable of inspiring students through engaging and creative instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver dance lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
- Teach a variety of dance styles (Indian classical, contemporary, folk, semi-classical, and Western forms, as applicable).
- Foster a love for dance and performing arts among students of all age groups.
- Identify and nurture individual student talent and encourage participation in competitions and performances.
- Choreograph dance routines for school functions, annual days, cultural events, and inter-school competitions.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in class and rehearsals.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and departments for integrated learning and thematic events.
- Maintain student progress records and share feedback with parents during PTMs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes and performances.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.





Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts / Dance / Fine Arts or equivalent (Diplomas in Dance from recognized institutions also accepted).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in teaching dance, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong command over at least one Indian classical dance form (e.g., Bharatanatyam, Kathak) and exposure to other forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
- Ability to manage and organize large group performances.

Desirable Attributes:

- Certification from reputed dance academies (e.g., Kalakshetra, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, etc.)
- Experience in conducting workshops or managing school productions.
- Enthusiastic team player with creative flair and a student-centered approach.
