Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our Dholera project. The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, techno-commercial negotiations, purchase planning, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services required for project execution.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in project procurement, CAPEX procurement, engineering materials, supplier management, and procurement negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for project requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage suppliers and vendors.
- Source engineering materials, equipment, consumables, and project-related requirements.
- Conduct techno-commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and commercial terms.
- Prepare and evaluate RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders, and contracts.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, construction, finance, stores, and other departments for procurement planning.
- Develop new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery schedules, and compliance.
- Drive cost reduction through competitive bidding, negotiation, alternate sourcing, and value engineering.
- Manage purchase orders, rate contracts, and commercial terms.




- Track procurement status and provide regular MIS/procurement reports.
- Support CAPEX and project purchasing activities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding price, quality, delivery, and payment terms.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries.
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor development, and project procurement.
- Good knowledge of engineering materials, equipment, fabrication, electrical/mechanical items, and consumables.
- Strong techno-commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience in CAPEX and project procurement will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requirements under project timelines.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
