Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patients' conditions.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.

- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.

- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.

- Educate patients and their families about diseases, medications, and home care.

- Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed.

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support when required.

- Coordinate with doctors, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.

- Supervise and guide nursing assistants and junior staff when necessary.

- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent)

- Valid nursing registration/licensure with the relevant nursing council

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is an advantage

Working Conditions

Staff nurses work in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. They may be required to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the organization's needs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
