About the Role The Google Opps (Operations) Manager will lead operations within the Google Ad Manager ecosystem, focusing on technical operations, product support, and workflow optimization. The role requires a strong technical and analytical background, with experience in mentoring technical analysts and driving a high-performance culture. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to maintain compliance with aggressive SLA targets and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a mastery-level understanding of specialized GAM support paths to ensure zero-loss case transitions.
- Navigate ticketing ecosystems and live operational visualization tools with high proficiency to ensure total queue transparency.
- Lead rigorous audits and participate in process improvements to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot GAM delivery issues and optimize publisher-side workflows.
- Manage and mentor technical analysts to ensure a high-performance culture.
- Analyze real-time data to identify throughput bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
- Allocate cases dynamically and mitigate ageing management issues.
- Handle critical escalations and ensure compliance with SLA targets.
- Facilitate smooth hand-offs between global cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Have 6+ years of experience in Ad Tech product support or technical operations.
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience focused on the Google Ad Manager ecosystem.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a technical or analytical background.
- Possess proven hands-on expertise in GAM delivery troubleshooting and ad-tagging.
- Have 2+ years of experience in a lead or capacity management role, with a track record of mentoring technical analysts.
- Demonstrate sophisticated verbal and written communication skills.
- Have experience in performance auditing, workforce management, and data-driven reporting.
Good to Have
- Advanced proficiency in dynamic case allocation and mitigation, ageing management, and handling of critical escalations.
- Expert ability to steer shift-level operations and foster a high-performance culture.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal expectations and facilitate smooth hand-offs between global cross-functional teams.
