KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage installation, maintenance, calibration and servicing of biomedical equipment.
- Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors and service providers.
- Maintain equipment records, service reports and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and NABH requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Support departments in the safe and effective use of biomedical equipment.
- Maintain inventory of biomedical equipment and spare parts.
- Assist in equipment procurement, inspection and commissioning.
- Participate in internal audits and quality improvement activities.
ELIGIBILITY
- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 4 – 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Positive knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of NABH requirements and biomedical equipment safety will be an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
