nKey Responsibilities & Skills
n1. Core Statutory Compliance Knowledge (Must-Have)
nStrong hands-on experience in Indian labour laws and statutory compliance, including:
n
- n
- PF (Provident Fund) – ECR filing, UAN activation, withdrawals, inspectionsn
- ESIC – Registration, contribution, returns, benefits handlingn
- PT (Qualified Tax) – State-wise compliance and return filingn
- Statutory returnsn
- LWF (Labour Welfare Fund) – Applicability and filingsn
- Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and Shops & Establishments Actn

n2. Practical Compliance Handling
n
- n
- End-to-end statutory remittance and return filingn
- Handling statutory notices, inspections, and auditsn
- Liaising with government departments (EPFO, ESIC, Labour Office)n
- Maintaining compliance calendars and ensuring adherence to statutory due datesn

n3. Payroll & CTC Understanding
n
- n
- Strong understanding of salary structures and CTC componentsn
- Knowledge of statutory deductions, including PF, ESIC, PT,



and TDSn
- Experience in payroll processing and validationn

n4. Team Coordination
n
- n
- Coordinating with team members to ensure timely completion of compliance activitiesn
- Monitoring assigned tasks and maintaining accuracy in deliverablesn
- Supporting junior team members whenever requiredn

n5. Client & Stakeholder Management
n
- n
- Handling multiple client accountsn
- Conducting review calls and resolving client queriesn
- Managing escalations and ensuring SLA adherencen

n6. Documentation & Reporting
n
- n
- Preparing MIS reportsn
- Maintaining compliance trackersn
- Managing audit documentation and statutory recordsn
- Supporting SOP creation and process improvement initiativesn

n7. System & Technical Skills
n
- n
- Experience with payroll/compliance software (GreytHR, Keka, Saral, etc.)n
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Validation)n
